Canvas board 40x50 cm

The Canvas Board provides a firm surface for painting at home, at school or in the studio. Handmade in the Czech Republic, it is suitable for beginners, students, hobbyists and professional painters creating practice studies or finished artwork.

It consists of a 3 mm MDF board covered with canvas coated in a universal acrylic primer. The surface is ready to paint on without additional priming and is suitable for acrylic, oil and tempera paints, as well as mixed media techniques.

The canvas wraps around the edges, and the back is covered with paper, providing a neat finish. The rigid backing supports brushwork and palette knife techniques without requiring additional canvas tensioning.

Its slim design makes the board easy to transport and store. It is a practical alternative to stretched canvas for art classes, home projects and plein air painting. A range of sizes offers options for small paintings, portraits, landscapes and larger projects.
