Medium I is specifical prepared, non-yellowing grease thinner. It replaces and even overcomes the use of linseed oil. It is recommended for glazing.
Medium II is grease, fast drying thinner, without addition of siccative. It is used in prime painting, in sequential painting in lower and intermediate layers. It prevents occurence of retained spots in the painting.
Poppyseed oil is suitable for its brightness for usage with light shades where linseed oil would not be appropriate. In comparison with the linseed oil the process of drying of poppyseed oil is slower.

Polymerated linseed oil (Stand-oil) in comparison with the normal linseed oil, polymerated linseed oil dries up more quickly and gets significantly less yellow.
