The Drafting and Drawing Board provides a firm, flat surface for drawing, sketching, painting on paper and technical drafting. It is suitable for school, home and studio use.

The board is made from blockboard with a soft birch veneer. Paper can be secured using drawing pins or adhesive tape. Compared with the harder economy MDF board, it allows drawing pins to be inserted more easily and used repeatedly.

Its 16 mm thickness makes it suitable for drafting with a wooden T-square. The edges are reinforced with hardwood lipping, which helps protect them from wear during regular handling.

The drafting and drawing board is a practical choice for frequent drawing and drafting. The economy MDF version offers an affordable surface for general creative work, but its unreinforced edges are more susceptible to wear with frequent use.
